Description
When Devon turned 18, he left his foster home and began his trek out to Las Vegas. Along the way he comes across a cute little prostitute named Kiri. Sharing a night together, Devon grows a bit attached to him; mainly because Kiri is a dhampir and shares in half blood hood with Devon. When Devon finds out that Kiri's pimp is abusing him and taking most of the money he earns, Devon offers to buy Kiri which, after some negotiation, is accepted. But what Kiri doesn't realize until many years later is that Devon went back and killed the pimp, taking back his money with interest.
Devon and Kiri share a close relationship due to their similar pasts and their struggles with being only half human. They're also both fiercely protective of each other. They're more than just friends, more than family or lovers; their bond is strong and eternal. Even when they become committed to their own romantic relationships, their devotion for each other is set in stone. It's a rather sweet relationship <3
